Are There Fireworks at the Fair?

Thanks to fuller and bigger pyrotechnic displays by Pyro-Spectaculars, every night will seem like the 4th of July at the Marin County Fair. Bring the whole family and come enjoy colorful fireworks – bursting above you and reflected by the waters of the lagoon. This low-level, safely choreographed extravaganza of rockets, Roman candles, comets, meteoric showers and cascades takes place each evening, July 3 through July 7 at 9:30 p.m.

Are There Animals at the Fair?

The 2013 Marin County Fair will include many of our favorite barnyard friends. Those curious about farm life won’t want to miss the sheep shearing and cow milking demonstrations. Along with sheep, beef and dairy cattle, goats, award-winning rabbits, poultry, llamas, draft horses and pigs, there will also be a display of “pocket pets” and Ham Bone Express racing pigs. You can meet all the prize-winning animals and youngsters can tour the Great American Petting Zoo in the Barnyard.
