“Weird Al” Yankovic

Wednesday, July 3, 7 pm.

“Weird Al” Yankovic is the king of pop parody. From his teenage days as the darling of the nationally syndicated Doctor Demento radio show to his latest million-selling recording Alpocalyse, the accordion-wielding, ultra-prolific satire champ has mercilessly subjected every major pop artist of the last 25 years to his incorrigible, hilarious lyrical rewrites. Both celebrating and ridiculing the excesses of popular music, the “Weird Al” live show is a multi-media extravaganza, complete with video, costume changes, his full band – and of course a polka!

The Kingston Trio

Thursday, July 4, 3 pm.

Using acoustic guitars and banjos, and singing simple yet memorable melodies, The Kingston Trio revolutionized popular music, reawakening America to its own rich folk music heritage.

The Kingston Trio was the number one vocal group in the world, a musical and cultural phenomenon whose record sales and concert draws were matched only by The Beatles. In a feat yet to be surpassed, Billboard magazine listed four Kingston Trio albums in their Top 10 at the same time. Enjoy their instantly recognizable folk hits including: Tom Dooley, MTA, Scotch and Soda and Tijuana Jail

Born in Oakland, Zendaya means " to give thanks" in Shona (a Bantu language native to the Shona people of Zimbabwe). This 16-year old actress/singer will perform her dance-hits and fan favorites from "Something To Dance For" to "Swag It Out" and much more at the Marin County Fair!
